David is Advocacy Co-lead at Iswe Foundation. Before joining Iswe he was a Fellow for International Climate Policy and Diplomacy at the UN Foundation, focusing on climate negotiations under the Paris Agreement. David served as a lead negotiator on the Paris Agreement for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, handling mitigation issues and U.S. relations ahead of COP21. He later advised the Secretary of State for Development on overseas aid, climate, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
David led the climate program at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) in Paris and also worked for ACCION, leading projects in Africa, and PlaNet Finance, focusing on linking energy access and financial services. He holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s SIPA.
