Claire is a facilitator, process designer and researcher with expertise in delivering participative processes which put citizens at the heart of decision making.
Claire has delivered more than fifteen citizens’ deliberative processes on climate change and other topics, from the local to the global level.
She was part of the founding team of the Global Assembly for COP26, which received the backing from UN Secretary General, António Guterres, part of the facilitation team at Climate Assembly UK and Scotland’s Climate Assembly, and one of the accredited researchers who observed Convention Citoyenne pour le Climat.
Claire has published several papers with the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformation (CAST) at Cardiff University, including a comparative analysis of the French and UK assemblies, and has co-authored articles for Carnegie Europe, European Democracy Hub and New Internationalist.
